Once you thread the tape through the Semi-Automatic taper, you attach it to a 5-Gallon bucket filled with thinned taping mud. As you pull the tape, it will apply an even amount of mud to one side of the tape. There is an adjustment wing nut to adjust the desired amount of mud to be applied.
